Donelle grew up in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the Academy of Culinary Arts at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Each summer, she escaped her small hometown to vacation in North Carolina with her best friend, quickly falling in love with the state's charm, beautiful coastline, and welcoming communities. In May 2020, she made that love permanent by relocating to Raleigh—a decision she describes as turning her favorite vacation destination into home.
Donelle began her professional career in the culinary and hospitality industry, where she spent 15 years honing her expertise in client service, relationship management, and operational excellence. Her passion for helping others and creating exceptional experiences ultimately led her to pursue a new challenge. In February 2022, she joined Thorough Financial Group as Operations Manager, where she plays a vital role in overseeing daily operations, coordinating client events, and supporting the advisory team in delivering outstanding service.
Outside the office, Donelle enjoys exploring North Carolina's trails, getting lost in a great book, and cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She also loves board games, beach days, and spending time with family and friends. A passionate animal advocate, Donelle dedicates much of her free time to cat rescue efforts and volunteering with local organizations like Purr Partners Feline Rescue and Operatioin Catnip. Above all, she treasures time at home with her husband, Keegan, and their two cats, Bailey and Caroline.
